My experience as an Albuquerque disability attorney

Michelle Baca. My practice is devoted exclusively to Social Security disability and SSI cases. I have been representing New Mexico Social Security disability and SSI claimants since 1992. I am a sustaining member of the Nation Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (NOSSCR).

I received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and American studies from the University of New Mexico in 1985 and a Bachelor of Social Work from New Mexico State University in 1989. In 1992 I received my law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law.

I practice throughout the state of New Mexico and I accept children’s SSI claims. I speak Spanish.

I know that my most important job as a disability attorney is providing each of my clients with personal attention. I will meet with you to discuss your SSI or Social Security disability case and answer your questions. I will analyze what you must prove to win and work hard to gather the necessary evidence. I will prepare you for your hearing and be by your side throughout it.

My staff

My staff consists of four legal assistants with many years of experience in the Social Security disability process. Together, they will provide invaluable knowledge and insight to help your case be a successful one. Members of my staff also speak Spanish.
